We can transition to renewables without destroying nature. Labor and the Liberal National Coalition have fossil fuel donors to please, so Labor argues we have to destroy nature and water down environmental laws in order to roll out renewables, while the Libs and Nats who deny climate science, now all of a sudden care about koalas (yeh right!) and say that we can't roll out renewables because of the impacts on nature. Ultimately the major parties arrive at the same conclusion: more coal, more gas
