In 2026, we mark the 80th anniversary of the Danfoss name! When Mads Clausen founded his company in 1933, he named it "Dansk Køleautomatik- og Apparat-Fabrik." Meanwhile, he called the first product "Danfoss" — a combination of “Dan” for Denmark and “foss,” the Scandinavian word for river.
