Platypus populations are paddling strong in City of Moreton Bay. Big news for Moreton Bay’s wildlife! 🐨🦘 A dedicated wildlife hospital and education hub will soon be built right here in City of Moreton Bay with $15 million in funding confirmed for the project by the State Government at today’s Leaders’ Forum. The new facility will mean injured animals like koalas, wallabies and sugar gliders can be treated locally rather than being driven up to two hours just for care.
