Video footage of a fighter jet evading an anti-aircraft missile has been miscaptioned online as an aerial confrontation between the ​U.S. and Iran in 2026. The footage can be traced to ‌a December 2025 post by a social media account that shares simulation aircraft videos.

The footage follows the aircraft as it crosses different landscapes from high altitude while the formation advances toward the destination.
